Healing With Energy: 3 Of The Most Effective Methods
Healing with energy is a vast domain with techniques and methods as varied as the varieties of flowers on the face of this Earth. So it’s no wonder why it’s hard to decide where to begin or how to even start healing with energy.
The type of energy healing that is best suited to you may come over time and through trial and error. I urge you to study the most popular types of energy healing and by educating yourself you will be able to hone your abilities.
Here is a list of 3 of the most popular and effective forms of healing with energy. Of course this list is not exhaustive.
Reiki
You’ve probably seen this performed at some point. Maybe at a university campus or on television. The basic stance on Reiki is that the practitioner heals by moving “healing energy” through the palms. Developed in 1922, Reiki is based on an unseen “life force energy” that flows throughout everyone. Now if one’s “life force energy” is low, then they are more likely to fall ill. The aim is to heighten the life force energy.
It involves 2 basic types of treatment. They are split into whole body treatment or localized treatment.
With whole body treatment, the recipient is laid down told to relax and be comfortable. The practitioner may first enter into a meditative state of mind before going into the treatment. The next step involves the practitioner moving his hands on or over various parts of the recipient’s body.
With localized treatment, the practitioner’s palms are situated on a specific area that may be troubling the recipient.
Learning Reiki is simple and the knowledge is passed onto a student via an “attunement,” which allows the student to access a limitless supply of “life force energy.”
Qigong
Qigong is a fast growing field of energy healing and uses breathing techniques, meditation, and slow, elegant movements to develop qi. There are more than 10,000 styles of Qigong and over 200 million people practicing it.
The goal of practicing Qigong is to achieve better health and vitality on top of a calm mind. Medical Qigong treatment is officially authorized as a medical technique in Chinese hospitals already.
The healing benefits of Qigong are massive. They include anti-aging effects, stress reduction, and increased energy levels. Some advanced practitioners of Qigong even have the ability to heal others as well.
The way Qigong achieves all this is by moving the blood via qi. This improves microcirculation to the brain, vital organs, and glands. This blood flow is incredibly powerful and can even lead to increased sex drive and higher levels of muscular endurance.
Pranic Healing
This is intensely developed and tested system of healing with energy that utilizes prana to balance and transfigure the body’s energy processes. Prana, similar to qi, is Sanskrit for life-force. This invisible energy is what keeps the body alive and in good health.
Pranic healing is a very powerful yet simple system of non-contact energy healing. It is steeped in the core principle that the body is a self-healing being. How pranic healing works is to push the life force or vital energy towards the affected part of the physical body.
Essentially, when a practitioner is performing pranic healing, he or she is working with the bio-eletromagnetic field of the recipient also known as the aura. This aura takes in life energy and spreads it all around the body. What’s amazing about pranic healing is its preventative powers. Because physical ailments appear first as energy disruptions on the aura before they do on the physical body, you can work with the aura first and thereby prevent problems from arising in the physical body.
These three techniques for healing with energy are by no means the be all end all of healing methods. But they do encompass a large part of the healing world. After you discover the method that works best for you, you’ll be able to focus on it and advance to extremely high levels.
